Hyundai E&C's Hillsstate volleyball team has completed a re-signing with the team's franchise star, Yang Hyo-jin.
Yang Hyo-jin signed a re-contract with Hyundai E&C for a total of 800 million won ($800,000) over one year (an annual salary of 500 million won and an option of 300 million won). Thus, since being drafted 4th overall in the first round of the 2007 rookie draft, Yang Hyo-jin, who has continuously played in the Hyundai E&C uniform, has successfully achieved her fifth re-signing, once again proving her status as a true 'one-club player.'
Having played as one of the top middle blockers in the country for 18 seasons since her debut, Yang Hyo-jin agreed to a one-year contract with the club, considering her skills and condition. This decision was based on her own experience and sense of responsibility, and the club reciprocated her dedication with deep trust.
The Hyundai E&C volleyball team stated, “Re-signing with Yang Hyo-jin, who is a symbol of the team, is a decision to continue our identity and tradition as a volleyball powerhouse,” and noted, “We will create a season that rewards our fans’ love and support once again.”
