LG won 3-0 against NC in a game held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 23rd. They avenged their loss from the previous day, ending their two-game losing streak.
The match-up between LG's fifth starter Song Seung-ki and NC's first starter Logan saw a scoreless game through the fourth inning. Song did not allow a single hit until the top of the fifth inning. He issued a walk to the lead-off batter in the second inning and faced a crisis with runners at first and second due to a third baseman error with one out. In the seventh inning, after one out, Moon Bo-kyung walked and Park Dong-won also walked. After two outs, Kim Hyun-soo came in as a pinch hitter.
