The professional baseball LG Twins broke their two-game losing streak.

LG won 3-0 against NC in a game held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 23rd. They avenged their loss from the previous day, ending their two-game losing streak.

The match-up between LG's fifth starter Song Seung-ki and NC's first starter Logan saw a scoreless game through the fourth inning. Song did not allow a single hit until the top of the fifth inning. He issued a walk to the lead-off batter in the second inning and faced a crisis with runners at first and second due to a third baseman error with one out. He escaped the crisis with a foul fly and a Samjin. He retired the side in the third inning, allowed one walk in the fourth, and retired the side in the fifth.

LG created a scoring opportunity in the first inning with two outs after Austin's single and Moon Bo-kyung's walk, but Park Dong-won was out on a Samjin. In the seventh inning, after one out, Moon Bo-kyung walked and Park Dong-won also walked. After two outs, Kim Hyun-soo came in as a pinch hitter. NC's left-handed relief pitcher Choi Seong-young committed a balk while Kim Hyun-soo was at bat, allowing the runners to advance to second and third bases. Kim Hyun-soo then hit a two-RBI double, extending the lead to 3-0.

LG's starter Song Seung-ki pitched six innings with no hits, three walks, seven strikeouts, and no runs before leaving the game. In the seventh inning, Park Myung-geun pitched one inning with one strikeout and no hits or runs, and in the eighth, Kim Jin-seong faced three batters and struck out all of them, finishing with KKK. In the ninth inning, Jang Hyun-sik allowed a lead-off double to Kim Joo-won, breaking the team's no-hitter. Jang Hyun-sik did not allow a run and finished the game with runners at second base and no outs.
