The social contribution activity 'BFC Soccer Clinic' of Bucheon FC 1995 for local elementary school students has resumed.
The BFC Soccer Clinic is a hands-on educational program where professional players visit elementary schools in Bucheon to teach children soccer. At the beginning of the year, applications from schools were accepted, and several elementary schools in the area showed high interest, quickly filling up the program for the first half of the year.
The first soccer clinic of 2025 was held at Beomgye Elementary School located in Beomgye-dong. It was conducted in the indoor gym due to the rainy and unpleasant weather, but the gym was filled with laughter thanks to the passionate guidance from the players and fun programs.
Especially this year's soccer clinic received great responses from the participating students due to an improved program compared to last year. A variety of activities tailored to the children's level, including skill instruction, one-on-one offense-defense matches, and mini-games, were conducted.
Gong Min-hyun, who participated in the first soccer clinic, noted, "It felt like we gained more strength from the children's pure passion," and expressed, "I want to participate in more activities in the future for children who love soccer."
Director General Kim Seong-nam said, "Expanding the base of local soccer is also one of the core values that a civic team should strive for," and added, "We will continue to make efforts so that children can grow healthily and happily through sports."
In addition to this, Bucheon plans to continue various social contribution activities for the expansion of the local soccer base and nurturing talent.
