"It is not that attractive."

Der Kicker reported on the 23rd (Korean time) that "Bayern Munich's confidence is misplaced, as Bayer Leverkusen's ace Florian Wirtz is indifferent towards a transfer. He is more interested in transfers to Real Madrid or Manchester."

Bayern has recently revealed that the background behind their decision to not renew the contract with 'club legend' Thomas Müller was due to 'financial reasons.' The same club has stated that just a few days later, 'there is sufficient funding.'

Sport1 reported on the 12th that "the background for Bayern's decision not to pursue a new contract with Müller stemmed from financial issues. Honorary Chairman Uli Hoeness noted that 'if the current financial situation had been the same as three years ago, the decision regarding Müller would have been different.'"

Müller, who joined the youth team in 2000, is a symbolic figure, having played exclusively for Bayern for 25 years, with 743 appearances, 247 goals, and 274 assists. He lifted 33 trophies as a key player in two trebles and a World Cup championship, and he also holds the record for the most assists in Bayern's history.

Müller will leave the team when his contract expires in June. The club no longer wished to continue with Müller, and Hoeness explained this by saying, "There isn't much money left in the account. We clearly need to reduce our expense."

Despite this, Bayern conveyed a contradictory position regarding the potential acquisition of next-generation star Wirtz, stating, "There are no financial issues." CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen emphasized, "The legendary deposits still have sufficient funds and are available for anyone to use."

Oliver Kahn of Germany's Sky Sports remarked, "Publicly mentioning specific names is not a good sign. There has to be trust at some point," indirectly criticizing the club's executives.

Müller hinted at his farewell, stating, "The journey of 25 years ends this summer." While Bayern lets a legend go due to expense issues, they simultaneously mention transfer possibilities exceeding €100 million, leaving a vague message.

Bayern is betting heavily on signing Wirtz, who is regarded as the next German ace. However, the player himself is indifferent towards moving to Bayern.

Der Kicker stated, "Although Wirtz and Bayern continue to be connected, Bayern is not the player's top choice. He prefers a transfer to Real or Manchester City."

The outlet explained, "Wirtz has been quite impressed by the consistent calls from Manchester City's Pep Guardiola. He is also considering the possibility of Xabi Alonso becoming the manager of Real."

There are reasons why Wirtz is not keen on his home big club Bayern. Der Kicker analyzed, "Initially, Wirtz is concerned about the coexistence issue with Jamal Musiala. He is also worried that manager Vincent Kompany may not be tactically flexible."
