The star of Hyundai Capital, Jeon Kwang-in, is leaving his beloved Cheonan to reunite with OK Savings Bank head coach Shin Young-cheol.

OK Savings Bank announced on the 22nd, "We have conducted a trade with Hyundai Capital Skywalkers, exchanging outside hitter Jeon Kwang-in (34) for opposite Shin Ho-jin (24)."

Jeon Kwang-in, who was selected first overall in the 2013 men's rookie draft by Korea Electric Power Corporation, is an outside hitter that represents the V League, equipped with both exceptional attacking and stable defensive skills. He boasts a dazzling career, having won Rookie of the Year, been selected four times for the Best 7, and won Most Valuable Player in a championship final. Through this transfer, Jeon Kwang-in will reunite with his mentor from his time at Korea Electric Power Corporation, the new head coach of OK Savings Bank, Shin Young-cheol.

Shin Ho-jin entered the professional stage after being selected first overall in the 2022 rookie draft by OK Savings Bank. In his second season, the 2023-2024 season, he played as the starting opposite spiker, leading OK Savings Bank to a championship final runner-up finish and ranking second among domestic players in attack success rate (50.24%) during the 2024-2025 season.

Through this trade, both OK Savings Bank and Hyundai Capital have strengthened the necessary areas. OK Savings Bank has bolstered their outside hitter lineup with a veteran who can perform in both attack and defense, while Hyundai Capital has maintained a balanced wing spiker combination through the acquisition of Shin Ho-jin.

Representatives from both clubs stated, "The new players joining the team have enabled a more diverse player management approach. We express our gratitude to the departing players for the achievements they brought to the team and their dedication over the years. We hope they continue to perform well with their new teams."
