The NH Nonghyup Bank 2025 KXO 3x3 Yangpyeong STOP 3 will be held with more abundant attractions.

KXO (Korea 3x3 Basketball Federation) will host the 'NH Nonghyup Bank 2025 KXO 3x3 Yangpyeong STOP 3' on the special courts at Yangpyeong County Office and Yangpyeong Sports Park over two days, on the 19th and 20th. This tournament will cover a total of four categories: U15, U18, men's open division, and KXO STOP.

The 'NH Nonghyup Bank FIBA 3x3 Hongcheon Challenger 2025 and FIBA 3x3 Hongcheon Light Quest 2025' will take place from May 9th to 11th in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province. Starting from February, KXO began its 2025 season with two events held in Hongcheon and Gangneung.

This Yangpyeong STOP 3, taking place before the Hongcheon Challenger and Hongcheon Light Quest, is expected to be an even more exciting tournament with the participation of Dongguk University, Hanyang University, and Japan's TGP.

Based on the cumulative rankings from the previous Hongcheon STOP 1 and Gangneung STOP 2, the participating teams for the Hongcheon Challenger (Japan's Sagamihara, Singapore, and Korea's Cosmo) have been determined. The winning team of this Yangpyeong STOP 3 will receive a spot to participate in the 'FIBA 3x3 Seoul Light Quest 2025' scheduled for June in Seoul.

To this end, new teams have actively participated in the KXO STOP, with notable participation from Dongguk University and Hanyang University. Dongguk University's participants for this Yangpyeong STOP 3 are Park Kwi-hwan, Jang Chan, Baek In-jun, and Kwon Min, while Hanyang University's participants are Moon Se-young, Kim Joon-ha, Son Yoo-chan, and Wi Geon-woo, who are challenging for a spot in the Seoul Light Quest.

In addition, Japan's TGP will newly participate in the KXO STOP, competing with Korean teams for a spot in the Seoul Light Quest. Meanwhile, Korea’s Cosmo, which secured a spot in the Hongcheon Challenger, and Hongcheon are scheduled to participate.

Maintaining high participation from enthusiasts, the U15, U18, and men's open divisions saw early registration close for this Yangpyeong STOP 3, creating a heated atmosphere. In the men's open division, with over 30 teams applying, the number of participating teams will be expanded to 21.

KXO Executive Director Song Tae-hun noted, "This year, due to the hosting of the 'Hongcheon Challenger,' we started the schedule earlier than usual. As a result, we are already conducting the third KXO STOP. Since this is the last KXO STOP before the Hongcheon Challenger, we ask for the attention of many. Given that this Yangpyeong KXO STOP 3 is tied to a spot in the Seoul Light Quest, we expect even fiercer competition."

Starting at 9 a.m. on the 19th (Saturday), the NH Nonghyup Bank 2025 KXO 3x3 Yangpyeong STOP 3 will move to 'Yangil High School' in the event of rain during the matches due to the weekend's forecast.

Meanwhile, all pre-games for this tournament are set to be broadcast live on YouTube, with the KXO STOP preliminary two matches and the finals, along with the U18 finals, being recorded for broadcast starting at 11 a.m. on the 26th (Saturday) on KBS N Sports.
