OK Financial Group has once again embarked on a meaningful initiative for the sports community.

OK Financial Group noted that "it has delivered training equipment to the baseball team of Yongin University of Arts and Sciences." The event for delivering training equipment took place on the 14th at 11 a.m. at the main building of Yongin University of Arts and Sciences, where they provided official game bats and practice balls among other training supplies.

The event was also attended by Director General Kwon Cheol-geun of OK Financial Group's sports team, President Choi Seong-sik of Yongin University of Arts and Sciences, and Coach Choi Young-pil of the baseball team, in addition to the team members, adding significance to the occasion.

OK Financial Group has consistently supported individuals or organizations in the sports community that have been relatively overlooked. In volleyball, they have awarded the 'OK Youth Volleyball Scholarship' to outstanding amateur middle and high school volleyball players, and through the OK Baseball Scholarship Foundation, a public interest corporation, they have selected 'OK Golf Scholarship' recipients to support middle and high school players who will lead Korean women's golf.

The Yongin University of Arts and Sciences baseball team, which received support this time, is a new team that was founded in 2021 and has made visible achievements, advancing to the U-League finals for college baseball in both 2023 and 2024, as well as reaching the round of 16 in the national college baseball championship and the quarterfinals in the President's Cup College Baseball Championship. This support was conducted to bolster the Yongin University of Arts and Sciences baseball team's potential, which has shown promise in such a short time.

OK Financial Group, which operates the OK Savings Bank Otman Professional Volleyball Team and the OK Otman Rugby Team, has been connected to baseball in various ways. In addition to this sponsorship, they have sponsored the National Deaf Baseball Tournament since 2010, and since 2019, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the tournament, they have continued sponsoring it by changing the name to the 'Sun Dong-yeol Cup OK National Deaf Baseball Tournament.'

An official from OK Financial Group stated, "I hope that the athletes who are working hard on the amateur stage can continue their dreams in a better environment, even a little bit," and added, "We will continue various social contribution activities to expand the base of sports."
