The Korea Baseball Softball Association (President Yang Hae-young) hosted and organized the 2025 Shinsegae Emart National High School Baseball Championship final, sponsored by Shinsegae Emart and Miryang City, where Seoul High School claimed victory over Masan Yongma High School with a score of 4-0 on the 13th (Sunday).

As expected in the final, a tight game unfolded. The team that scored first was Seoul High. In the top of the first inning, Song Ji-yoon recorded the first hit of the game. Following that, Kim Ji-woo's hit provided a lucky timely hit, allowing Seoul High to take a 1-0 lead. In the top of the third inning, with one out, Park Ji-sung took the mound and struck out two consecutive batters, maintaining the momentum. In the bottom of the third inning, Seoul High expanded its lead to 2-0 with a push score.

In the top of the fourth inning, Masan Yongma High School's cleanup hitter Kim Joo-oh reached base with a hit in front of the left fielder after two outs, attempting a comeback. Kim Joo-oh advanced to third base on a stolen base and a passed ball by the catcher, but unfortunately could not convert it into a score. On the other hand, in the bottom of the fourth inning, Seoul High's Kim Myung-hyun delivered a timely hit over the first baseman's head, bringing home the second baseman Jo Seung-jun. Seoul High took a commanding lead at 3-0. In the bottom of the fifth inning, Masan Yongma High School replaced the pitcher with Park In-wook. In a crisis situation with one out and runners on second and third base, Park In-wook issued a walk to the first batter, loading the bases. However, he remained composed and struck out the following batter and induced a groundout to end the inning without allowing a run.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Seoul High added one more point. Cleanup hitter Kim Ji-woo scored a valuable run with a sacrifice fly to center field. Kim Ji-woo shone defensively as well. In the top of the seventh inning, in a crisis with one out and runners on first and second base, he executed a 5-4-3 double play to thwart Masan Yongma's rally. In the top of the ninth inning, Kim Joo-oh hit a double against Lee Ho-beom, but they ultimately could not score. Seoul High secured a 4-0 victory, with pitchers Park Jin-gwon, Park Ji-sung, and Lee Ho-beom stifling Masan Yongma's offense.

With this victory, Seoul High claimed their first national championship in seven years since winning the Korea Baseball Softball Association President's Cup National High School Baseball Championship in 2018. Coincidentally, the last matchup between the two teams was also in the second round of the same tournament in 2018, where Seoul High won 4-2.

The Seoul High captain Lee Si-won, who led the first tournament of 2025 to victory, noted, “I never thought we would lose. There was no doubt that we would win. Thanks to my teammates’ excellent performance, we were able to win. Since the start of the season has been good, we’ll work even harder to make sure we can end it just as well, aiming for two more championships.”

Seoul High's Park Ji-sung, who pitched 4.2 innings without allowing any runs and recorded 10 strikeouts in relief, was awarded both the Most Valuable Player and Best Pitcher awards. Additionally, catcher Kim Tae-sung received the Best Catcher award for leading the team to a scoreless game along with the three pitchers. Third baseman Kim Ji-woo, who excelled on both offense and defense, received a commendation award.
