The Woori Card Woori WON volleyball team (owner Jin Sung-won) announced on the 14th that it has signed a free agent contract with middle blocker Park Jun-hyuk.
Park Jun-hyuk, who entered the professional stage after being selected as the first overall pick in the second round by Hyundai Capital in the 2017-18 season, joined Woori Card through a trade in the 2022-23 season. Utilizing his height of 205 cm, he is strong in quick attacks and blocking and garnered significant interest in this free agent market, but his original team Woori Card showed sincerity, leading to his re-signing.
The Woori Card volleyball team noted, "We recognize Park Jun-hyuk as a key player necessary for the team and have communicated several times since the opening of the free agent market. As a player with great potential, we expect him to significantly strengthen the team's capabilities next season."
