The professional baseball LG Twins won their third straight game. Doosan Bears fell into a four-game losing streak.
LG triumphed 4-0 in the season's second match against Doosan in the 2025 KBO League held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 12th.
Starting pitcher Chi-ryo-nos grabbed no runs with a powerful pitch, allowing three hits, one walk, and striking out eight over six innings (100 pitches), claiming his third victory of the season. Oh Ji-hwan, who hit a solo home run the previous day, provided the first score with a decisive hit. In the 8th inning, Moon Seong-joo solidified the lead with a two-run single.
Following Chi-ryo-nos, Park Myung-geun (⅓ inning), Kim Jin-seong (1 inning), Lee Ji-gang (⅔ inning), and Jang Hyun-sik (1 inning) continued the scoreless performance.

In the first inning, lead-off batter Shin Min-jae drew a walk on the 9th pitch. However, Kim Hyun-soo was tagged out by a pick-off attempt. Kim Hyun-soo grounded out to second, Austin drew a walk, but Moon Bo-kyung struck out.
LG opened the scoring in the 4th inning. Lead-off batter Kim Hyun-soo reached on a single to right, and after one out, Moon Bo-kyung drew a walk with four balls on a two-strike count. Oh Ji-hwan hit a timely single to left, bringing the runner from second home to score first.
Soon after, Moon Seong-joo hit a single in front of the right fielder, but the runner from second was tagged out at home plate by right fielder Cave's accurate throw. With two outs and runners on first and second, Park Dong-won was hit by a pitch from Doosan starter Kim Yoo-seong's first pitch, reaching first base.
With two outs and the bases loaded, Doosan eventually changed pitchers. Kim Yoo-seong was replaced by Lee Young-ha as the second pitcher. Song Chan-eui endured four balls on a two-strike count, earning a walk that made the score 2-0. Park Hae-min ended the attack with a pop-up to the third baseman.
LG's starter Chi-ryo-nos recorded strikeouts in each inning until the 3rd, keeping a perfect game. In the 4th, he struck out Cave for the second out but allowed a single to shortstop Yang Eui-ji. The umpire called the first base out, but Doosan requested a video review, and the call was overturned to safe at first base.
Doosan's Cave hit a single to center, and Yang Eui-ji drew a walk, creating a bases loaded situation with two outs. Choo Jae-hyun struck out swinging, failing to capitalize on the opportunity.
In the 7th, against the new pitcher Park Myung-geun, lead-off batter Yang Seok-hwan reached on a walk. After Kim In-tae struck out, Kang Seung-ho hit a single to left, creating a one-out, first and second situation. LG replaced Park Myung-geun with Kim Jin-seong.
