Lee Myung-kwan (29, Woori Bank), a key player in Woori Bank's runner-up finish, has successfully re-signed.

The Women's Korean Basketball League (WKBL) announced the results of the third round of negotiations for free agents on the 12th. The player who attracted the most attention, Lee Myung-kwan, signed a contract with Woori Bank for a period of 3 years, with a total salary of 130 million won.

Lee Myung-kwan averaged 7.3 points and 4.4 rebounds in the regular league last season, establishing himself as the second option for Woori Bank. After failing to win the award he was a strong candidate for, head coach Wi Sung-woo made a surprising announcement that he would give Lee 3 million won as a coach's award. In reality, Lee received 1 million won from Coach Wi.

In the first round of negotiations, Lee Myung-kwan wanted 170 million won, showing a difference of 10 million won from the 160 million won offered by Woori Bank. Ultimately, in the second round, Lee did not receive offers from other teams and signed a contract in the third round for 130 million won, which is 30 million won less than Woori Bank's offer.

Kang Gye-ri signed with her original team Shinhan Bank for a period of 2 years, with a total salary of 70 million won. Kim Na-yeon (Samsung Life Insurance) and Gu Seul (Shinhan Bank) decided to retire after failing to contract with their original teams.
