The Korea Volleyball Association (President Oh Han-nam) announced today the roster of male and female volleyball national team athletes to be assembled in early May.
A total of 16 players were selected for the women's team, which will compete in the '2025 Volleyball Nations League Women's Tournament' held in Brazil, Turkey, and Japan from June 4 to July 13.
The setters for the women's team led by coach Fernando Morales are Kim Da-in (Hyundai E&C), Park Sa-rang (Pepper Savings Bank), and Lee Go-eun (Heungkuk), while the liberos are Han Da-hye (Pepper Savings Bank) and Han Soo-jin (GS Caltex), who have earned spots.
The middle blockers include Kim Se-bin (Korea Expressway Corporation), Lee Da-hyun (Hyundai E&C), Lee Joo-ah (IBK Industrial Bank), and Jung Ho-young (Jeonggwanjang), while the opposite spikers are Moon Ji-yoon (Heungkuk) and Lee Sun-woo (Jeonggwanjang). The outside hitters are Kang So-hwi (Korea Expressway Corporation), Yuk Seo-young (IBK Industrial Bank), Lee Joo-ah (GS Caltex), Jung Yoon-joo (Heungkuk), and Jung Ji-yoon (Hyundai E&C).
Meanwhile, male national team coach Isanae Ramirez noted that he will select 16 players to participate in training and prepare for the '2025 AVC Challenge Cup,' which will be held in Bahrain from June 17 to June 24.

The middle blockers include Park Chang-seong (OK Savings Bank), Lee Sang-hyun (Woori Card), Cha Young-seok (KB Insurance), and Choi Jun-hyuk (Korean Air), while the opposite spikers are Shin Ho-jin (OK Savings Bank) and Lim Dong-hyuk (Military Sports Corps). The outside hitters are Kim Ji-han (Woori Card), Na Kyung-bok (KB Insurance), Lim Seong-jin (Korea Electric Power Corporation), Jung Ji-seok (Korean Air), and Heo Su-bong (Hyundai Capital) who will don the national team jersey.
The 32 selected male and female volleyball national team athletes will gather at the Jincheon National Training Center in early May to begin training in preparation for international competitions in 2025.
