Doosan foreign hitter Jake Cave, who had been suffering from a cold and body aches, has returned to the first team.

The Doosan Bears of the Korea Professional Baseball League are preparing for their season's third match against the Hanwha Eagles on Oct. 10 at Seoul's Jamsil Stadium.

Doosan has established its starting lineup against Hanwha's starting pitcher Ryan Weiss, consisting of Jeong Soo-bin (center fielder), Jake Cave (right fielder), Yang Eui-ji (catcher), Yang Seok-hwan (first baseman), Kang Seung-ho (third baseman), Kim Jae-hwan (designated hitter), Choo Jae-hyun (left fielder), Park Gyeobum (shortstop), and Oh Myeong-jin (second baseman). The starting pitcher is Jack Logue.

The first team roster includes foreign hitter Cave, while infielder Yeo Dong-geon has been removed.

Cave became Doosan's new foreign hitter for an aggregate of $1 million, and after leaving the first team roster on the 31st of last month with a batting average of .214 and 3 RBIs over 8 games, he was granted rest due to severe coughing accompanied by a cold and body aches. He rejoined the Icheon Futures team on the 8th after recovering.

Cave also generously provided a coffee truck for the second team, raising his game skills with a batting average of .500 (3 hits in 6 at-bats) over 2 games in the Futures League.

Doosan's starting pitcher Jack Logue has a season record of 1 win and 2 losses with an earned run average of 5.50 over 3 games, achieving his first quality start and victory of the season in his recent appearance against the Lotte Giants on the 4th, where he pitched 6 innings, allowing 7 hits, 2 walks, and recording 6 strikeouts while giving up 3 runs. This will be the first meeting with Hanwha.
