The professional baseball team Kiwoom Heroes (CEO Wi Jae-min) will hold a 'Seoul Women's University Day' event during the game against the LG Twins at Gocheok Sky Dome at 6:30 p.m. on the 9th.

On that day, the first pitch will be thrown by President Lee Yun-sun of Seoul Women's University, while the ceremonial hit will be made by first-year student Baek Ji-woo from the Department of Environmental Engineering. Over 300 members of the university's faculty and students will also attend the event at Gocheok Sky Dome.

President Lee Yun-sun of Seoul Women's University said, 'I am very pleased that Seoul Women's University can participate in such a meaningful event. I hope it will be a lively memory for everyone, cheering on the players’ wonderful games.'

Baek Ji-woo said, 'It feels like a dream to be given the ceremonial hit. I hope this event will serve as an opportunity for my fellow students at Seoul Women's University to start the new semester energetically. I will cheer for the players to present a wonderful game.'

On that day, the national anthem will be sung by the 'Shu Choir' from Seoul Women's University. Before the game, the cheerleading group 'SWURS' from Seoul Women's University will put on a performance wishing for victory, and during cleaning time, the street dance club 'TIPSSY' will take the stage from the first base cheering platform.

Since 2012, Kiwoom has been running a baseball lecture program called 'Heroes Special Lecture for Women's Universities' targeting women's universities located in Seoul. Starting this year, the title has changed to 'HEROES in Campus,' and the target audience has expanded to include general universities. Participating universities will receive benefits including invitations to Kiwoom's home games, as well as baseball lectures and prize events.

Meanwhile, on that day, the players will don the 'Seoul Uniform,' symbolizing the capital city, Seoul.
