Kevin De Bruyne is leaving Manchester City.

On the 4th (Korean time), Manchester City shared on the club's website that "De Bruyne is closing the curtain on a glorious career that he has spent with Manchester City over the past 10 years."

They added, "The club and fans will have the opportunity to bid farewell to De Bruyne, one of the greatest players in Premier League history."

De Bruyne left a message on social media prior to his farewell from Manchester City this summer.

He stated, "There are only a few months left as a Manchester City player. Football has led me to you and Manchester. This city, the club, and the fans have given me everything, and I had no choice but to repay it all."

He added, "We have won everything in every competition. But like it or not, it is time to say goodbye. All stories have to come to an end, but this journey was truly the best. Let's enjoy the last moments together."

After leaving VfL Wolfsburg in Germany in 2015 to don the Manchester City jersey, De Bruyne entered his prime and established himself as a world-class midfielder.

He played 413 official matches for Manchester City, scoring 106 goals.

During his time with Manchester City, he experienced victory 19 times, including six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and five League Cups.

Among these are the UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup victories.

However, with recent frequent injuries, De Bruyne’s playing time is also decreasing.

He missed the first half of last season due to a hamstring injury and managed to play in only 26 matches, including 18 in the Premier League. This season, he has only appeared in 31 official matches, including 20 in the league.

With the official announcement of his separation from Manchester City, attention is now turning to his next destination as he becomes a free agent (FA).

With no news of a re-signing with Manchester City, speculation has already surfaced regarding the Major League Soccer (MLS) in the U.S. and the Saudi Arabian League as potential new stages for him. There is also speculation about a transfer to other league teams within Europe.
