It was a perfect pitching by Ace Ahn.

On the 5th, Park Se-woong made a starting appearance at the Busan Sajik Stadium in the regular season game against the Doosan Bears, throwing 95 pitches over 7 innings, allowing 4 hits, 1 walk, and 9 strikeouts, all while leading the team to a 6-0 victory. Park Se-woong secured his 2nd win of the season with a quality start plus pitching.

That day, Park Se-woong threw a fastball clocked at 150 km/h. He led the game throwing 34 fastballs, 35 sliders, 19 curves, and 6 forkballs.

Starting with a strikeout against Jeong Soo-bin in the 1st inning, Park Se-woong handled Kim In-tae with a flyout to center field and Yang Ui-ji with a groundout to third base to conclude the 1st inning. In the 2nd inning, he struck out Kim Jae-hwan, then allowed a single to Yang Seok-hwan. However, after handling Kang Seung-ho with a flyout to right field, Yang Seok-hwan, who was headed for second during a wild pitch, was caught by Yoo Gang-nam, ending the inning with three batters.

In the 3rd inning, he struck out Park Jun-young and Park Gye-beom consecutively. After retiring Lee Yu-chan with two outs, he allowed a single to left field and a walk to Jeong Soo-bin, putting him in a two-out, runners on first and second crisis. However, he overcame the crisis by striking out Kim In-tae.

In the 5th inning, he allowed his first leadoff batter on base, giving up a surprise bunt single to Park Jun-young. A sacrifice bunt by Park Gye-beom put runners on second base with one out. However, he again overcame the crisis by striking out Lee Yu-chan and Jeong Soo-bin consecutively.

In the 6th inning, he handled Kim In-tae with a groundout to second base, Yang Ui-ji with a flyout to center field, and Kim Jae-hwan with a groundout to third base, resulting in a three-up, three-down inning. Then, in the 7th inning, he struck out Yang Seok-hwan and Kang Seung-ho consecutively, and caught Park Jun-young with a flyout to right field, completing his assignment for the day. He dominated the game and demonstrated his crisis management ability as his strikeout capability heightened even when crises arose.

On the 29th of last month, Park Se-woong became the winning pitcher for the first time in 275 days with six innings pitched, allowing 5 hits, 3 walks, and 6 strikeouts while giving up 1 run against KT. This was his first win since June of last year. It was a valuable win after 9 months and 6 days, and he mentioned that once he broke the streak, he started building winning momentum.

After the game, Park Se-woong said, "Today, I mixed various pitches. The manager always says, 'Do not throw a pitch composition that hitters can predict.' So I try to avoid that as much as possible in the battery meetings and am working hard to study. Preparing like that seems to be important for the future."

He added, "There were more strikeouts today than I expected, and I think it’s because of the movement of the breaking balls and pitch composition that resulted in good effects. Today, I didn't consciously focus on the strikeouts, and while my strikeout pace has been good lately, I want to pitch many innings, get many strikeouts, and stay on the mound for as long as possible."

Regarding becoming the winning pitcher after a long time, he said he didn’t particularly think about it. He noted, "I knew I hadn't won many games. However, I didn't realize it had been that long. Winning is certainly good, but I hope the team wins a lot in the games I pitch."

After the game, head coach Kim Tae-hyung also praised, saying, "Park Se-woong has shown good form, establishing himself as the centerpiece of the team as a starting pitcher."
