There is no drama like this drama. The "defending champion" Los Angeles Dodgers have truly forgotten how to lose.

The Los Angeles Dodgers achieved a thrilling 6-5 come-from-behind victory against the Atlanta Braves in the third game of their home series on the 3rd at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California, United States.

With this victory, the Dodgers surged to an impressive eight-game winning streak since the start of the season. In contrast, Atlanta fell into the depths of a seven-game losing streak since the opening.

Atlanta's batting lineup troubled Dodgers starter Blake Snell from the very first inning. With Marcel Ozuna and Matt Olson on base from walks, Bryan De La Cruz hit a ground ball towards third base, but third baseman Max Muncy made a throwing error to first base. Meanwhile, the runner on second, Ozuna, rounded third and reached home. Nick Allen then hit a one-RBI double to the left-field warning track, while De La Cruz on first was thrown out at home.

In the top of the second inning, leadoff batter Stuart Fairchild reached base due to Muncy's throwing error, then took second base on a wild pitch. Following that, Eli White created a one-out, first and third base opportunity with a bunt hit, and Ozzie Albies hit a two-RBI double, followed by Ozuna's walk and Matt Olson's two-RBI double. Atlanta led 5-0.

The Dodgers embarked on a counterattack at the bottom of the second inning. Leadoff batter Michael Conforto reached base on a walk, and Tommy Edman hit a two-run home run to close the gap. He established a favorable count of 3B-1S against Atlanta starter Bryce Elder, and on the fifth pitch, he connected with an 89.6 mph (144 km/h) sinker that entered the middle, sending the ball over the center field wall. It was his fourth home run of the season.

A home run was hit again in the bottom of the fourth inning. In a situation with one out and no runners on base, Conforto hit his first home run of the season. Facing a 2B-1S favorable count, he attacked the fourth pitch, an 84.4 mph (135 km/h) slider that was in the middle, sending it over the center field wall.

The Dodgers had a chance in the bottom of the fifth with leadoff batter Andy Pahes hit by a pitch and Shohei Ohtani's single to right field, placing runners on first and third with no outs, but Mookie Betts was unfortunately doubled off on a line drive back to the pitcher. Ohtani advanced to second on a throwing error by the pitcher, while Teoscar Hernandez ended the inning with a swinging strikeout to "Samjin."

The Dodgers did not back down. In the bottom of the eighth inning, with one out, Conforto hit a single to right, and Smith walked to put runners on first and second. Edman helped the two runners advance with a ground ball to first base, and Muncy, who had to lower his head after consecutive errors, succeeded in hitting a two-RBI double to tie the game.

The crucial moment came in the final bottom of the ninth inning. With one out and no runners on, Ohtani stepped up, making solid contact on a first pitch outside 88.9 mph (143 km/h) changeup from Raisel Iglesias, launching a dramatic game-winning home run to deep center field. It marked the final moment of the game.

After a rest day on the 4th, the Dodgers will move to Philadelphia on the 5th to face the Philadelphia Phillies in a weekend series.
