The Korea Professional Baseball League's LG Twins stated, "Actor Gong Myoung will throw the ceremonial first pitch for the second victory wish for the 2024 season, ahead of the first game of the season against the KIA Tigers scheduled for April 4 at Jamsil Baseball Stadium."
LG introduced actor Gong Myoung as "an actor who has received public love for showcasing stable acting skills across various genres, including the movies 'Citizen Deokhee,' 'Extreme Job,' and the drama 'Melody of Love.'" They added, "In the TVING original series 'Way Back Love,' debuting on the 3rd, he plays his first love, Kim Ramwoo, who returns as the grim reaper, showcasing moments of brilliant youth. He is also set to star in the Netflix series 'Lee & Ko' and the Netflix film 'The History of Confession,' which are both set to be released this year."
Gong Myoung, who is throwing the first pitch, remarked, "I am really glad and happy to be able to throw the first pitch for the LG Twins this year, following last year. I will do my best to throw well, wishing for the 'LG Twins' to win. Go 'LG Twins' and 'Way Back Love'!"
