The transfer rumors regarding Lee Kang-in (24, Paris Saint-Germain) have reignited.

Spain's sports media 'El Desmarque' reported on the 1st (Korean time) that "Valencia midfielder Harvey Guera is attracting interest from several Premier League teams. It has been confirmed that discussions about Lee Kang-in were also held."

The media noted that Harvey Guera's agent recently visited the UK and contacted several clubs, and during that process, names of several players, including Lee Kang-in, were brought to the conversation table with scouts. This suggests that Lee is still of interest to Premier League clubs despite currently playing for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

The transfer rumors surrounding Lee Kang-in have been consistently raised since the beginning of the winter transfer market this year. Particularly, on Jan. 8, Matteo Moreto, a journalist for the prominent Spanish media outlet 'Relevo,' reported that "several clubs are showing interest in Lee Kang-in." Moreto is recognized as a credible transfer market expert in Spain, continuing in-depth coverage on Lee Kang-in.

Another Spanish outlet, 'Fichajes,' also reported in January that "Manchester United and Newcastle United are showing significant interest in acquiring Lee Kang-in, and there is a possibility he could leave PSG." This emphasized that Lee is on the radar of big clubs in the Premier League.

Fabrizio Romano, a journalist well-versed in European transfer news, also stated during the winter transfer market period that "two Premier League clubs are closely monitoring Lee Kang-in." However, he noted that "PSG has no plans to let Lee go this winter," predicting that an immediate transfer would be unlikely and that Lee actually chose to remain with PSG.

Lee Kang-in began playing for PSG last summer after leaving Mallorca and has been utilized under coach Luis Enrique. As a versatile player capable of operating as an attacking midfielder, winger, or striker, he has made an impact this season with 6 goals and 4 assists in 41 matches.

'Fichajes' has highly evaluated Lee Kang-in's flexibility in tactical roles, analyzing that "several European clubs are paying attention to his versatility and potential."

Interest from Arsenal has also been mentioned. Matteo Moreto reported in January that "Arsenal is paying attention to Lee Kang-in's playing style and ability to utilize the flanks, and it is known that discussions regarding interest in him are ongoing internally." 'The Athletic' also added that "Arsenal is considering Lee Kang-in as one of their options in the winter transfer market."

Lee Kang-in is currently under contract with PSG until 2028, and the prevailing assessment is that the likelihood of an immediate transfer is low. However, reports from El Desmarque reaffirm that his name is still in the sights of top European clubs.
