Park Min-woo also left a heartfelt message on his Instagram on the 31st of last month, accompanied by a photo of a single white chrysanthemum. He said, "While I cannot dare to fully comprehend the devastation the family must have felt due to the unexpected accident that occurred at the baseball park they visited with joyful hearts, as a player of the NC Dinos, who received support from the deceased, I express my deep condolences with sadness and regret."

Park Min-woo added, "I will not forget the precious time spent together with the loving support you sent. The team will also sincerely pray as one for the peaceful rest of the deceased. I humbly wish for the repose of the deceased's soul."

Earlier, during the LG-NC game on the 29th of last month, a structural component on the third floor of Changwon NC Park fell onto a concession stand on the first floor, injuring three spectators nearby. A female fan in her 20s, who suffered a head injury, underwent surgery but passed away on the morning of the 31st of last month.

On the 31st of last month, the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) expressed condolences through an official statement, saying, "Due to the accident at Changwon NC Park on the 29th, a fan who loved baseball tragically passed away. The KBO bows its head in deep condolences to the victim and the bereaved family. Furthermore, we sincerely wish for the prompt recovery of the two individuals still suffering from injuries."

In response, the KBO has designated a period of mourning from the 1st to the 3rd and decided not to hold any KBO League or Futures League games on the 1st in memory of the victims.

The KBO has decided to postpone all three games of the Changwon (SSG-NC) series, which were set to be held without spectators. The games in Jamsil, Suwon, Daejeon, and Gwangju will resume on the 2nd, and before the games, there will be a moment of silence for the victims. The games will be conducted without cheering, and all players participating in the games will wear mourning ribbons to honor the victims.

The KBO and the 10 teams will thoroughly check the safety of facilities and structures both inside and outside the grounds of every stadium before the games. They also plan to strengthen and refine the regular inspections conducted by the teams and local governments.
