The 3rd game of the 2025 season between the professional baseball teams NC Dinos and LG Twins has been postponed due to an unfortunate incident.

The KBO announced on the 29th, "We have decided to postpone the game between NC and LG scheduled for the 30th at Changwon NC Park. This decision was made in consultation with the NC team following an incident at the Changwon game on the 29th, where three spectators were injured due to a structural collapse."

NC stated, "The game scheduled to be held on the 30th at Changwon NC Park against the LG Twins has been canceled for a facility inspection at Changwon NC Park. Depending on the duration of the facility safety inspection, we will notify you later about the status of home games."

On that day at NC Park, an incident occurred where two spectators were injured after being struck by structures that fell on their heads and collarbones respectively. The two injured spectators were quickly transported to the hospital, and one spectator required treatment after being greatly startled.

An NC Dinos team official explained, "Around 5:20 p.m., a structure installed on the 3rd base wall at Changwon NC Park fell, and three spectators were transported to the hospital. Two were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for examination and treatment. One person was greatly startled and needed to be transported separately to a hospital for stabilization."

The incident occurred when a structure on the outer side of the 3rd floor of the baseball stadium fell. The falling structure injured two spectators near the concession stand on the 1st floor, who were transported to the hospital by ambulance. NC stated that it would take all measures for the injured spectators and ensure that no further incidents occur.

An NC official remarked, "The team will do everything possible for the patients. The area where the accident occurred is under control." They continued, "The spectator who suffered a head injury is undergoing surgery at a local hospital. One person has a collarbone injury and is receiving treatment. A team staff member is stationed at the hospital," adding, "The team will provide all treatment and support. We will inform you of the surgical progress as it becomes available."

Meanwhile, due to the incident, both teams halted their cheering efforts beginning from the top of the 5th inning. The amplified music was turned off, and cheerleader performances also did not take place. The game ended with LG winning 14-4.
