PUMA has signed an official match ball sponsorship agreement with the English Premier League (PL).
Under this agreement, PUMA will provide the official match ball for all Premier League matches starting from the 2025-2026 season. Moreover, PUMA is expected to participate in various activities of the Premier League, from community-based soccer programs that cultivate grassroots talent to large-scale marketing campaigns such as the Premier League Summer Series to be held in the United States this July.
Arne Franck, PUMA Chief Executive Officer (CEO), noted, "The contract with the Premier League, which has the largest viewership in the world, is a significant milestone for enhancing PUMA's brand value. I am pleased to showcase our performance technology at the forefront of modern football and engage with many fans worldwide. Through the agreement with the Premier League, PUMA aims to enhance brand recognition by providing premium performance experiences to fans, players, and communities, hoping to position itself as a familiar brand.
PUMA has already secured a significant presence in the league through its official partnership with defending champion Manchester City. Players from major league clubs, such as Jack Grealish (Manchester City), Kai Havertz (Arsenal), James Maddison (Tottenham Hotspur), Harry Maguire (Manchester United), Jordan Pickford (Everton), and Marc Cucurella (Chelsea), are also seen wearing PUMA soccer boots on the pitch. Furthermore, PUMA is supplying the official match ball for the EFL Championship and the Carabao Cup as well.
