Jeonbuk Hyundai will face Sydney FC (Australia) on the 6th in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the 2024-2025 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League at Yongin Mir Stadium.

Wataru, who plays in the Australian A-League, was born in 2006 and joined Sydney after going through the Sydney youth system last season. He has played in 2 matches this season. Coming on as a substitute, he has a deep connection with Korea.
Kamijo said, "My mother is Korean. That's why I attended school in Korea for a year during elementary school," adding, "I am really happy to be playing in Korea."
He also noted, "Regardless, as the coach said, what's more important than Jeonbuk's performance is our game," and expressed his commitment to ensure that he can effectively showcase what they have prepared on the field.
