An incident occurred in which an outsider unlawfully entered the residence of group Billie member Haruna. Accordingly, the agency Mystic Story announced on the 25th that they will suspend Haruna's activities for the time being to ensure her psychological stability and will operate Billie as a six-member group.
Mystic Story issued a statement that day, saying, “We wish to inform fans regarding future activities of Billie member Haruna,” and noted, “A serious incident occurred recently in which an outsider used physical force to damage the entrance door, unlawfully entered, and threatened the artist at Haruna's residence.” They emphasized that “We will take a stern response without leniency to any actions that threaten the artist’s safety.”
Mystic Story reported that they contacted the police immediately after the incident and transferred Haruna's residence. They also visited a medical facility for a thorough examination.
The company stated, “According to the detailed diagnosis results from the medical facility, the artist is in a condition that requires her to maintain psychological stability and take rest for a certain period,” and added, “Billie plans to continue activities as a six-member group excluding Haruna.” They then mentioned, “The schedule for Haruna's resumption of activities will be announced again later.”
Mystic Story conveyed, “We are acutely aware of the seriousness of this matter,” and noted, “We plan to take strong legal action against the perpetrator without leniency alongside police investigation.” They concluded, “We apologize for causing concern to many fans with this sudden news and will spare no effort to ensure that Haruna can return stably after sufficient treatment and recovery.”
