Incheon City announced on the 16th that starting on the 18th, it will increase the number of vehicles on the 3000 route bus that runs between the Ganghwa Terminal and Sinchon Station from 10 to 12.
The 3000 bus is the only bus route that connects the Ganghwa Terminal with Magok Station, Hapjeong Station, and Sinchon Station in the Seoul area.
The 3000 bus previously operated a total of 23 vehicles, but since July of last year, it has been divided into Incheon City route 3000 (8 vehicles) and Gimpo City route 3000-1 (15 vehicles).
Incheon City has been continuously increasing the number of vehicles, including adding 2 more 3000 buses last December to reduce the interval between buses by 5 minutes.
The city expects that this increase will reduce the bus interval during rush hour from 20 minutes to 15 minutes.
Kim In-soo, head of the Incheon City Transportation Bureau, said, "As the express bus is a key means of transportation for citizens to move conveniently to Seoul, we will continue to improve and supplement it."
