Shin & Kim LLC announced on the 16th that it has recruited Kim Ki-soo, a professional commissioner from the Fair Trade Commission, to strengthen its capabilities in the area of fair trade.
Commissioner Kim worked at the Fair Trade Commission for about 19 years. He served in various departments including the Manufacturing Industry Surveillance Division and the Service Industry Surveillance Division within the Market Surveillance Bureau, the Corporate Group Division and the Corporate Transaction Policy Division within the Competition Policy Bureau, as well as the Competition Division, Construction Subcontract Division, and Consumer Division at the Seoul office. He also held key positions in important departments such as the Competition Policy Division and as a secretary to the vice chairman. He majored in fair trade law at Yonsei University Graduate School of Law and obtained a master's degree in law.
Commissioner Kim will join the Fair Trade Group at Shin & Kim. Shin & Kim plans to utilize Commissioner Kim's extensive practical experience from the Fair Trade Commission to proactively respond to changes in the fair trade policies of the government led by Lee Jae-myung.
