The Ministry of Personnel Management announced the final successful candidates of 44 for the national public servant career competitive recruitment exam for persons with severe disabilities through the Cyber National Examination Center on the 10th.
The final number of successful candidates by rank in this exam is 1 for grade 7, 3 for grade 8, and 40 for grade 9.
They will be hired by 14 central administrative agencies, including the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. They are expected to handle tasks such as managing mail, disbursing unemployment benefits, ensuring food safety, and operating the National Fine Dust Information Center system.
The average age of the recruited candidates is 38.4 years. This is a slight increase from last year (36.9 years). The oldest is 57 years old, and the youngest is 23 years old.
Vice Administrator Park Yong-soo noted, "We are continuously identifying suitable positions for persons with severe disabilities to expand opportunities for them to enter public service," and added, "We will provide support services for them to fully demonstrate their abilities without discomfort after appointment, while creating a work environment that is conducive to work."
