Broadcasters Oh Sang-jin (45) and Kim So-young (38) reportedly earned hundreds of millions of won in profit from investing in a building in Hannam-dong.
According to the Korea Economic Daily on the 10th, they recently sold the building in Hannam-dong, Yongsan District, Seoul, which they purchased in 2017 in joint names with Mr. A for 2.3 billion won, for 9.6 billion won. Considering the equity, the couple's estimated profit is about 3.65 billion won.
The building was newly constructed in 2020 with a scale of 1 basement level and 5 above-ground floors. Currently, a restaurant is located there.
Kim So-young joined MBC as an announcer in 2012 and served as the main anchor for MBC TV's 'Weekend News Desk' in 2013. She married broadcaster Oh Sang-jin, a former MBC announcer, in 2017 and left MBC that same year.
Kim So-young is operating a bookstore and a curation commerce brand business. Oh Sang-jin is hosting JTBC's 'China's Class: Special Lecture from Home.'
