A man wielded a weapon in a villa in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, injuring two people. The suspect died after jumping from a height immediately after the crime.
The Gwanak Police Station in Seoul reported on the 30th that at around 8:30 p.m. on the 29th, a man in his 30s, identified as A, wielded a weapon at residents in a villa in Sillim-dong.
A was confirmed to have attacked a resident with a weapon after pressing the doorbell of the villa where the victims lived and opening the door.
The victims are men in their 20s and 30s, who suffered injuries to their ankles and shoulders, but their lives are not in danger. It has been determined that A and the victims did not know each other.
A was found in a state of cardiac arrest after jumping from the roof of a nearby building shortly after the crime and was transported to a hospital but died.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
