The special investigation team led by Min Jong-ki, tasked with investigating various allegations related to former President Yoon Suk-yeol's wife, Kim Keon-hee, has received all case materials from related investigative agencies and is currently reviewing them.
On the 29th, special investigator Moon Hong-joo of the Kim Keon-hee special investigation team noted that they have received all cases related to Kim from the prosecutors, police, and the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) as specified in the special investigation act.
The special investigation team plans to hold a signboard ceremony at the special investigation office in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, on the 2nd of next month and to officially commence their investigation. Four special investigators will divide the cases, with each taking on 2 to 3 teams.
The Min Jong-ki special investigation team will focus on 16 cases, including allegations of stock manipulation related to Kim Keon-hee, suspicions that corporations provided bribery-like sponsorship for exhibitions associated with Kobana Contents, and accusations of receiving expensive luxury goods.
