Yoon's attorney, Yoo Jeong-hwa, said to ChosunBiz, "The special investigation, which had been halted at one point, resumed around 5 p.m."

Former President Yoon appeared for the special investigation at 9:55 a.m. The morning questioning began at 10:14 a.m., during which a police officer dispatched to the special investigation reportedly questioned him regarding allegations of obstructing his arrest and destroying evidence. It was reported that the morning questioning proceeded normally.

However, Yoon's legal team demanded a change of the researcher, citing that the police officer involved was under accusation for illegal arrest. In response, the special investigation claimed that the legal team was obstructing the inquiry.

Following lunch, former President Yoon did not participate in the afternoon inquiry, which was scheduled to take place from 1:30 p.m. The special investigation planned to look into allegations that former President Yoon attempted to provoke a North Korean attack to create a state of martial law during the 12-3 emergency martial law period.
