As the assets of 44 high-ranking officials were disclosed in the government gazette, the official with the largest reported assets is Kim Sam-hwa, head of the Korean Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education (KIGEPE), with 11.5 billion won.

The Government Employees Ethics Commission published the assets of high-ranking officials in the electronic gazette on the 27th. The individuals whose assets were disclosed are 44 high-ranking officials who had changes in status between March 2 and April 1 of this year.

The current high-ranking official with the largest reported assets is Kim Sam-hwa, the head of the Korean Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education (KIGEPE), who reported total assets of 11.48 billion won under her and her family's names.

Included are real estate valued at 4.64 billion won for an apartment in Seocho District of Seoul and farmland in Boryung, Chungnam. The deposits and securities held are valued at 3.6 billion won and 3.4 billion won, respectively.

Park Geon-tae, vice president of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's Korea Expressway Corporation, reported 7.92 billion won, following Kim. Vice President Park owns real estate valued at 4.69 billion won under his and his family's names, including land in Gyeongsan, Gyeongbuk, and the Songpa apartments in Daegu and Seoul.

In third place is Yang Jae-soo, head of the Korea Data Agency, who reported 4.53 billion won. This includes real estate worth 1.96 billion won under his and his spouse's names and deposits of 2.25 billion won. There is also Bitcoin worth 8.74 million won under his name.

Among retirees, former Mayor of Yeongju Park Nam-seo (approx. 8.4 billion won), former head of the Korea Data Agency Yoon Hye-jung (approx. 6.9 billion won), and former Human Rights Commission member Lee Chung-sang (approx. 6.8 billion won) ranked in the top three in terms of reported assets.
