Special Prosecutor Park Ji-young said at a press conference on the 26th, "Former President Yoon Suk-yeol's side requested to be allowed to enter through the underground parking lot during the investigation on the 28th," adding, "This is effectively refusing to attend the investigation."

On that day, Special Prosecutor Park noted, "The former president's side submitted an opinion that they cannot accept the special prosecutor's request to attend if the request to enter the underground parking lot is not accepted," and added, "None of the former presidents, including Chun Doo-hwan, Roh Tae-woo, Lee Myung-bak, Park Geun-hye, or Roh Moo-hyun, have ever entered through the underground parking lot."

Special Prosecutor Park continued, "In such cases, one must consider the procedures under the Criminal Procedure Act, don't you think?" It is interpreted that, although a warrant for the arrest of former President Yoon was dismissed by the court on the 25th, if he refuses to attend or if concerns about refusal arise, they may consider requesting the warrant again.

Special Prosecutor Park commented on whether the investigation will take place on the 28th, stating, "Whether or not he comes is up to the former president's decision," and expressed hope that the investigation will proceed.

Earlier, the special prosecution instructed former President Yoon to attend and undergo questioning at 9 a.m. on the 28th. When former President Yoon stated he would arrive at 10 a.m. on the 28th, the special prosecution accepted this.

Special Prosecutor Park said, "The former president's side mentioned health reasons and said they would attend at 10, so that part is negotiable," and explained, "The reason for notifying the 9 a.m. attendance was that there were many issues to investigate, so we wanted to start early."
