The special prosecutor, when asked by reporters about the meeting schedule with Oh Dong-woon while on his way to a law office in Seocho-gu, Seoul, said, “We were planning to have the meeting today, but it was postponed due to a report to the National Planning Committee of the CIO,” adding, “It will probably be tomorrow (24th).”

The special prosecutor also said regarding the expected scale of the dispatch from the CIO in response to a reporter's question, “We are planning to discuss the matter as there are circumstances at the CIO.” He further confirmed in response to the question, “Are there plans to request the dispatch of Director General-level prosecutors from the CIO, such as Lee Dae-hwan and Cha Jeong-hyun, who were in charge of the investigation into the rebellion charges?” saying, “Yes.”

Additionally, when asked whether he would receive prosecutors or investigators from the Daegu District Prosecutor's Office, which is investigating the case separately from the CIO, the special prosecutor said, “We plan to bring over relevant investigation records, and we will consider whether to receive them (in the future).”

The special prosecutor, in response to a reporter's question about when the investigation would commence, stated, “The investigation will basically start after the preparation period is over. Conducting investigations during the preparation period is done in advance to prevent evidence destruction or maintain prosecution stages,” adding, “Currently, settling into the office is the most urgent task.”

The special prosecutor said, “Initially, we were going to have the special prosecutor's office in the Heunmulgyeol building, but due to various circumstances, it has not proceeded, so we are looking for another building,” and added, “Once the office is confirmed, the special prosecutor's preparation process will proceed quickly.”
