The Korea Meteorological Administration said on the 23rd, "Rain is expected nationwide on the 24th and 25th," and added, "Be cautious as there may be strong winds and thunder and lightning in some areas."

Rain will begin in earnest on the 23rd afternoon starting from Jeju Island. Rain will start in the Jeollanam-do and Gyeongsangnam-do areas from dawn (midnight to 6 a.m.) on the 24th, and will expand to the North Jeolla and South Gyeongsang regions in the morning (6 a.m. to noon). In the afternoon (noon to 6 p.m.), rain is expected in southern Gyeonggi Province, inland central and southern Gangwon Province, Chungcheong Province, and the northern part of Gyeongsangbuk-do. From the evening (6 p.m. to midnight), rain will expand across all of central Korea, including Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi Province, and Gangwon Province (excluding inland central and southern regions).

The expected rainfall for the two days of the 24th and 25th is forecast to be between 20-60 mm in most parts of the country. However, there is a possibility of heavy rain exceeding 80 mm in the mountainous areas of Jeju.

Hot and humid weather will continue along with the rain. The minimum temperature on the morning of the 24th is forecast to be between 17-23 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature during the day is expected to be between 23-30 degrees Celsius. In particular, during times when the rain eases, high humidity is expected to make it feel muggy.
