As the military conflict between Israel and Iran escalates the situation in the Middle East, a South Korean student studying in Israel has stirred significant attention by publicly sharing their escape process during the war via video.

A university student, identified as Mr. A, who revealed that they were studying in Israel, posted a video titled "the world's first war escape vlog" on their YouTube channel on the 19th. The video includes the entire process of deciding to escape after taking refuge in a bunker and returning to Korea.

Mr. A said, "More than 100 missile alert notifications went off overnight," and noted that they directly witnessed missiles falling outside their dormitory window. As the situation worsened, they decided on an emergency escape, but revealed that the price of flight tickets skyrocketed to as much as 9 million won, making it difficult to return home.

In response, the Korean Association in Israel, the embassy, and Myung Sung Church took action to ensure Mr. A and other community members' safe return. With their assistance, Mr. A was able to board a bus to Amman, Jordan, and, after staying with a local Korean family for a day, was able to fly back home.

Mr. A recalled, "While editing the video, the entire airport lost power," and added, "I was really scared that the flight wouldn't take off due to the blackout."

He arrived in Korea after a journey of over 18 hours via Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and Doha, Qatar, and as of the 23rd, the vlog has surpassed 1 million views, attracting significant interest.

Viewers of the video expressed reactions such as, "It's shocking that this is a real escape vlog," "I'm glad to be a citizen of the Republic of Korea," and "I can't even imagine how their parents felt."
