On Sunday, the 22nd, it will rain in most areas until the morning, and the midday temperature will rise to 30 degrees, making it hot.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the rain that started the day before will continue until dawn in southern Gangwon, Chungbuk, and Jeolla regions, and until morning in the Gyeongsang region, while Jeju Island will see intermittent rain until the afternoon.
The expected rainfall over the next two days is 30 to 80 mm (with some areas exceeding 100 mm) in Gwangju, Jeonnam, Daegu, southern Gyeongbuk, Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam; 20 to 60 mm (with some areas exceeding 80 mm) in Jeonbuk and Jeju Island; 10 to 60 mm in northern Gyeongbuk, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo; 10 to 50 mm in Daejeon and southern Chungbuk; 5 to 10 mm in northern Chungbuk and Sejong; and less than 5 mm in southern Gangwon.
As the rain stops, the sky will be mostly clear in the metropolitan area, Gangwon, and Chungcheong regions. The southern provinces will generally be cloudy before becoming clear from the morning. However, Jeju Island is expected to remain cloudy.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 16 and 22 degrees, while the afternoon high temperatures are expected to be between 26 and 31 degrees. It will be hot with afternoon temperatures around 30 degrees, so care should be taken for health during outdoor activities.
The morning low temperatures by region are as follows: Seoul 19 degrees, Incheon 19 degrees, Suwon 17 degrees, Chuncheon 17 degrees, Gangneung 22 degrees, Cheongju 18 degrees, Daejeon 17 degrees, Jeonju 19 degrees, Gwangju 19 degrees, Daegu 19 degrees, Busan 20 degrees, and Jeju 20 degrees.
The afternoon high temperatures will be: Seoul 29 degrees, Incheon 26 degrees, Suwon 28 degrees, Chuncheon 30 degrees, Gangneung 30 degrees, Cheongju 29 degrees, Daejeon 29 degrees, Jeonju 29 degrees, Gwangju 28 degrees, Daegu 29 degrees, Busan 27 degrees, and Jeju 25 degrees.
The fine dust concentration will be at a level of 'good' to 'normal' across all regions. The sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.0 m in the East Sea and West Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 m in the West Sea. The wave heights in the offshore (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 0.5 to 3.5 m in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.5 m in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 m in the South Sea.
