Suga of the group BTS, who completed his military duty as a social service worker and was discharged on the 21st, repeatedly apologized for past drunk driving.
Suga stated in a post on Weverse that he was sorry for disappointing and worrying fans due to what happened last year. He was indicted in absentia for riding an electric scooter while drunk in August last year and received a summary order for a fine of 15 million won.
Suga expressed, "I was very upset that I hurt the feelings of the fans," and said he was also sorry to the members who must have felt heavy in their hearts from their respective positions.
As Suga, who began his service in September 2023, was discharged on this day, all members of BTS have completed their military duties. It has been about 2 years and 6 months since the eldest member Jin enlisted in December 2022, with all members now returning to their fans.
Suga said, "I sincerely thank the fans who have waited for me," and stated, "I will work hard to repay the love you have given me in the future."
Earlier, the members watched J-Hope's solo world tour encore finale performance held at Goyang Gymnasium on the 13th, the group's debut anniversary. Jin and Jungkook took the stage to perform alongside J-Hope.
