The new novel from the publishing company 'Mu-Je,' represented by actor Park Jung-min, has entered the best-seller upper ranks thanks to Park's active promotion.

According to the best-seller rankings for the second week of June announced by Kyobo Bookstore on 20th, the new novel 'First Summer, Wanju' by author Kim Geum-hee published by Mu-Je ranked 4th. This is an impressive climb of 28 spots from the previous week.

The book was published on the 8th of last month, but interest surged recently as Representative Park appeared on entertainment programs such as 'You Quiz on the Block.' Among the buyers, those in their 30s (37.3%) and 40s (29.0%) made up a significant portion, and female readers overwhelmingly accounted for 76.6% compared to men (23.4%).

Park Jung-min has promoted the book not only through broadcasts but also through various channels such as YouTube and media interviews. His influence was evident at the '2025 Seoul International Book Fair' that opened on the 18th. The Mu-Je booth attracted a crowd, with waiting numbers exceeding 100, causing congestion. Representatives from Mu-Je apologized for the purchasing delays and provided information regarding waiting times through social media (SNS).

Park Jung-min is also scheduled to hold a book talk at the Book Fair on the 21st with author Kim Geum-hee.

Meanwhile, author Sung Hae-na's 'Honmono' recorded 2nd place, closely following Yoo Si-min's 'Reading of Youth,' which has remained at 1st place for five consecutive weeks. Other literary works also ranked high, including Kim Young-ha's 'Only Once in Life' (3rd), Yang Gwi-ja's 'Contradiction' (5th), Han Kang's 'The Boy Comes' (6th), and Jeong Dae-geon's 'Rapid Flow' (8th).
