Professional gamer 'Faker', Lee Sang-hyeok, donated to the development fund for the Seoul Regional Trauma Center, the National Medical Center announced on the 20th.

The Seoul Regional Trauma Center is the only regional trauma center established at the National Medical Center in Seoul.

The National Medical Center presented a certificate of appreciation to athlete Lee Sang-hyeok at the donation ceremony for the Seoul Regional Trauma Center held the previous day. They also shared the status of trauma center operations and future plans. The donation amount was decided not to be disclosed after discussions.

Athlete Lee Sang-hyeok noted about the donation background, "I have always felt the importance of the trauma center, which is in the essential medical field," and added, "I hope that this donation will lead e-sports fans and more people to take an interest in the role and necessity of the trauma center."

The National Medical Center plans to engrave his name on the 'donation wall' on the first floor of the main building.

Lee Sang-hyeok has been active in League of Legends (LoL) e-sports for over 10 years and has set numerous records. Last year, he was selected as one of the first inductees into the 'LoL Hall of Fame' established by Riot Games.
