A video entitled 'restaurant where you can dance the terminal dance when you enter' that spread mainly through social media has been deleted after generating controversy.

The controversial video featured two female employees wearing aprons dancing the trending 'terminal dance' in front of diners. This dance is characterized by large side-to-side movements of the hips and shoulders, parodying a video that recently went viral in China.

The video included phrases such as 'If you're curious about the staff's Instagram, comment' and 'If the view count reaches 1 million, the owner will give the part-timer 500,000 won,' along with related hashtags.

As the video spread, debates arose among internet users, with some escalating to gender conflict issues.

Critics expressed opinions such as, 'Why only female employees are made to dance?', 'It's problematic that they have to dance like that while receiving minimum wage,' and 'I couldn't bear it if my family did such part-time work.'

On the other hand, counterarguments were raised including, 'If it's an issue of suggestiveness, then we should question idol performances too,' 'Isn't it acceptable if it's voluntary participation from the staff?' and 'It's just a promotional video; suggesting it's a hospitality act is excessive.'

As the controversy escalated, a citizen reported the restaurant to the relevant administrative agency for suspected hospitality misconduct, and it is said that an official who went to confirm the situation advised the deletion of the video. Subsequently, the owner received administrative guidance and reportedly deleted the problematic video.
