As prices for premium shaved ice have soared past 100,000 won, represented by luxury hotels, Daejeon's renowned bakery, Seongshim-dang, has countered with low-priced shaved ice priced in the 10,000 won range.

According to Seongshim-dang on the 18th, the 'fresh mango shaved ice' launched last month is being sold for 14,000 won. It features a base of mango topped with fresh mango on top of milk snow ice.

In addition, Seongshim-dang is selling various low-priced shaved ice. The 'Seongshim-dang Old Taste Craft' located across from the main store offers Korean black sesame shaved ice for 12,000 won, while ▲Bohmunsan shaved ice, ▲pumpkin shaved ice, and ▲Nonsan shaved ice are each sold for 10,000 won.

Menus priced under 10,000 won are also attracting attention. This includes ▲Legendary red bean shaved ice (6,500 won), ▲Injeolmi shaved ice (7,500 won), and ▲snowflake strawberry shaved ice (6,500 won). Individual cup shaved ice is priced at 3,500 won for red bean or strawberry, and 4,000 won for fresh mango cup shaved ice.

Meanwhile, luxury hotels are launching 'high-end shaved ice' every summer. According to the hotel industry, Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas showcased the 'Belle Époque champagne shaved ice' in collaboration with the French champagne brand 'Perrier-Jouët' at 150,000 won this month. It includes champagne granita, milk ice, cheese, and avocado slices.

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul launched 'Jeju apple mango shaved ice,' which uses two or more Jeju apple mangoes, for 149,000 won. It also includes 'mango sphere,' made with rice cake tossed in mango sauce and elderflower sauce shaped like a dome.
