The special prosecutor Min Jung-ki, who will investigate various allegations related to former President Yoon Suk-yeol's wife Kim Keon-hee, stated on the 17th that a face-to-face interview with Mrs. Kim is expected to take place.
When reporters asked Special Prosecutor Min during a visit to a law office if a face-to-face interview with Mrs. Kim was necessary, Min replied, "I believe it will happen."
When reporters inquired if it would be difficult to conduct a face-to-face interview since Mrs. Kim had been hospitalized at Seoul Asan Hospital the day before due to a chronic illness, Min noted, "I learned of (the hospitalization) through media reports" and added, "We haven't specifically decided how we will conduct the investigation."
Min indicated, "Since we haven't set a specific schedule for the investigation, just preparing is overwhelming," and mentioned, "We will gradually consider that aspect (the face-to-face interview with Mrs. Kim, etc.)."
Meanwhile, the special investigation led by Min Jung-ki is investigating allegations against Mrs. Kim regarding her involvement in nominations, manipulation of stock prices at Deutsch Motors, and the receipt of luxury bags.
