Vice Minister Oh Seok-hwan of the Ministry of Education noted on the 11th that he could not confirm any issues regarding the violation of educational neutrality related to the conservative educational group Rebox School supplying educational programs to 10 schools in Seoul through affiliated organizations.

On this day, Vice Minister Oh made these remarks during inquiries related to Rebox School at the Education Committee meeting in the National Assembly.

Rebox School, an abbreviation of 'Lee Seung-man and Park Chung-hee School,' was established in 2017 to provide historical education supporting the two former presidents to students. The organization is under suspicion of recruiting and operating a comment team to defame specific presidential candidates under the pretext of granting teaching certificates for Nulbom School. Nulbom School is an integrated after-school education and care system operated by the Ministry of Education.

Additionally, the organization provided science and arts programs to Nulbom Schools in 10 schools in Seoul through the Korea Nulbom Education Association.

In this regard, Vice Minister Oh stated, "The program was supplied to 10 schools in the Seoul area for the first semester of 2025, and it has been confirmed that 11 lecturers were dispatched," adding, "As of June 2, the 10 schools have suspended the program."

However, he said, "We plan to listen to parents' opinions through future online surveys and continue to monitor related complaints," and noted, "We are conducting a comprehensive survey of all schools nationwide in collaboration with 17 city and provincial education offices, separate from the program supply through Korea National University of Education."

Vice Minister Oh also stated regarding Son Hyo-sook, the representative of Rebox School, who has served as a policy advisory committee member for the Ministry of Education, that there is "no personal connection or relationship" with Prime Minister Lee Joo-ho, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education.
