A congratulatory atmosphere for President Lee Jae-myung, elected as the 21st president, is spreading centered around his alma mater, Chungang University, and the local community.

On the 4th, banners celebrating the election of President Lee Jae-myung, an alumnus of Chungang University, were hung throughout the university located in Heukseok-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul.

On the electronic board near the main gate, a message reading "Congratulations to Lee Jae-myung (law department '82), the president of South Korea" was displayed. Banners were also hung under the names of the Chungang University '82 alumni association, the law school alumni association, the Democratic alumni association, and the former student body presidents.

A message saying "Congratulations to Lee Jae-myung (law department '82), the president of South Korea" was also shown on the large screen in Chungang University's Building 102.

A congratulatory message with the same content was posted at the Chungang University alumni association. This is the first time Chungang University has produced a president since its establishment.
