A controversial exhibition featuring images of the Rising Sun flag and hate expressions such as 'chosunjing' has been installed at Hansung University.

According to reports from the university on the 4th, several exhibits with hate speech, including a depiction that seems to mix the Rising Sun flag, a symbol of Japanese imperialism, and the Taegeukgi, along with terms like 'chosunjing' and 'disgusting chosunjings don't know shame,' were installed inside a building at Hansung University in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, around 11:10 p.m. the previous day.

Another exhibit contained the statement, 'Korea is the only country engaged in a battle for moral supremacy. Nevertheless, I shout out that I want to impregnate all the pretty idols, pretty actresses, and pretty street women to leave my genes behind.'

This was identified as having been set up by a male student enrolled in the Fine Arts Department at Hansung University. It is reported that the university did not approve the exhibition. A staff member on duty discovered the exhibit 20 minutes after it was installed and contacted the student responsible for the display, and it was voluntarily removed around 11:50 p.m.

Hansung University reportedly clarified, 'The university authorities quickly discovered the deviant behavior of a particular student and had the student themselves remove the unapproved exhibition just 40 minutes after its installation.'
