On the 3rd, during the nationwide voting for the 21st presidential election, there were disturbances as voters complained about problems with the voting process at various polling places.

The Yangpyeong Police Station in Gyeonggi Province stated that they are investigating a woman surnamed A in her 60s on suspicion of violating the Public Official Election Act. Ms. A is accused of causing a disturbance at a polling place in Jipyeong-myeon, Yangpyeong County, around 1:35 p.m. after ignoring the instructions of a polling worker.

After finishing her voting at the polling place, Ms. A attempted to fold her ballot in a way that revealed whom she had voted for and put it into the ballot box. When the election worker said, "The voting result has been disclosed, so it will be treated as an invalid vote," Ms. A protested and caused a disturbance for about 20 minutes.

Around 9:21 a.m. at a polling place in Okjeong-dong, Yangju City, an elderly voter surnamed B revealed his marked ballot because his hand was trembling. A staff member from the election commission informed him that it would be treated as an invalid vote, prompting Mr. B to become angry and cause a scene. Eventually, police removed Mr. B from the polling place.

Around 1:20 p.m. at a polling place in Uijeongbu City, a man surnamed C in his 50s asked the election worker for his ballot back after he had completed his voting. When he was not given the paper, Mr. C cursed and pushed the table.

Around 7 a.m. at a polling place in Icheon City, a woman surnamed D in her 50s requested a new ballot from the polling supervisor, claiming she had marked it incorrectly, but was denied. Ms. D then tore the ballot and was reported to the police.

At a polling place in Yangchon-eup, Gimpo City, around 8 a.m., a woman surnamed E in her 60s tore her ballot and caused a disturbance. Ms. E demanded a replacement ballot, saying she "misstamped," but when the election worker refused, she tore the paper and placed it in the ballot box.

Around 7:39 a.m. at a polling place in Dongan-gu, Anyang City, a person surnamed F discovered that the signature column on the voter registration list had the character "Park (朴)" written in Chinese characters. Mr. F did not sign, as his surname was not Park. He refused to vote for a period before returning home.

According to the election commission, this occurred because there were two or more polling places created in an elementary school building. It was explained that a person surnamed Park should have voted at the 1st polling place on the 3rd floor of the gymnasium but voted at the 2nd polling place on the 2nd floor instead.

At a polling place in Yatap-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam City, a man surnamed G found another person's signature on his signature line around 12:28 p.m. Police confirmed that a voter with the same name had mistakenly voted at the polling place.

Around 10:26 a.m. at a polling place in Pyeong-an-dong, Dongan-gu, Anyang City, voters protested after the voting manager handed out ballots that had not been stamped with the official seal. According to the election commission, approximately 20 ballots without the manager's stamp were discovered. However, these unusual circumstances were recorded in the voter log and were recognized as valid ballots.

In Ulsan, a man surnamed H in his 50s, who was intoxicated, arrived at the 1st polling place in Jung-gu, Jungang-dong around 8 a.m. During the verification of the voter registration list, it was confirmed that Mr. H had voted early on the 30th of last month, leading the election workers to escort him out of the polling place. However, around 1 p.m., Mr. H returned to the polling place, seemingly still intoxicated, causing a disturbance. Ultimately, the police intervened, and Mr. H was reported.

At the 2nd polling place in Ilsan-dong, Dong-gu, Ulsan, a male voter surnamed I did not properly write his name on the voter registration verification line. Although the election workers prompted him to write in block letters, Mr. I stated that his signature could be forged and insisted on writing in cursive. He also attempted to live stream his questioning of the authenticity of the ballot paper on YouTube. Ultimately, police intervened and expelled Mr. I.
