The labor and management of Changwon city buses reached an agreement on wages and collective bargaining on the 2nd. Accordingly, the union also suspended the strike, which had lasted for six days from the 28th of last month, citing the breakdown of negotiations.
According to Changwon city and others, around 4:30 p.m. on that day, the unions of nine Changwon city bus companies and management reached a conclusion to this year's wage and collective bargaining under the mediation of Changwon city.
The labor and management agreed on ▲a 3% wage increase ▲an additional 400,000 won for summer training expenses (600,000 won → 1 million won) ▲a childbirth incentive payment (200,000 won for each child) ▲three days of paid leave ▲a one-year extension of the retirement age (63 years → 64 years), among others.
The labor and management reached an agreement after negotiations that lasted about 18 hours, attended by over 30 representatives from labor, management, and the government, which began at 10 p.m. on the 1st at the Changwon City Hall.
Additionally, the labor and management decided to reflect the regular bonus and summer training expenses, which were the main issues of this wage negotiation, into the ordinary wage system according to the current ongoing lawsuit ruling.
