Minister Ko Gyeong-dong, the acting head of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, voted at a polling place installed at the Sejong Special Autonomous City's Eojin-dong Complex Community Center on the morning of the 29th.
The acting Minister said, “I hope that citizens who have difficulty voting on election day will visit a nearby early voting place during the early voting period to exercise their precious rights,” and noted, “I will do my best to ensure that the election is conducted fairly in close cooperation with the National Election Commission and other relevant agencies.”
Early voting will take place from today until 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the next day, the 30th. Voters can participate in the voting at any early voting place nationwide, regardless of their resident registration, as long as they bring an identification card.
