Groups claiming 'fraudulent elections' have announced plans for video recording and rallies at early voting sites from the 29th to the 30th. The National Election Commission noted that it plans to take action under the Public Official Election Act if these groups are deemed to be obstructing the voting process.

On the 28th, police and the National Election Commission reported that groups such as Clean Election Citizen Action and the Movement to Right Korea, which claim fraudulent elections, have submitted reports to the police regarding rallies near early voting locations in Gangnam, Gwangjin, Nowon, Seocho, Yongsan, and Eunpyeong.

Members of these groups are said to plan to wear badges reading 'citizen monitoring of early voting sites' and count the number of voters at the entrances of early voting locations or conduct video recordings.

In this regard, the National Election Commission stated that if individuals behave disruptively within or 100 meters from the voting site, or if they make statements supporting or opposing specific candidates, the voting management officer or election staff can intervene. Furthermore, failure to comply with directives could result in expulsion. If a disruption or expulsion order is ignored, voting management officers or election staff may request assistance from the police.

The National Election Commission requested special cooperation from the Korean National Police Agency in preparation for group actions by organizations claiming fraudulent elections at early voting sites and deployed uniformed police officers at each early voting location. The National Election Commission also enhanced patrols of early voting sites with police collaboration.

Earlier, the National Election Commission reported Hwang Kyo-ahn, an independent presidential candidate claiming fraudulent elections, and the 'Anti-Fraud Election Corruption Prevention Group' to the police on the 27th for allegedly spreading conspiracy theories about election fraud and obstructing election operations by threatening early voting managers.

Meanwhile, an individual named Kwon announced plans to hold a rally of approximately 500 people demanding the eradication of fraudulent elections in the areas of Seodaemun-gu and Jung-gu in Seoul that evening. However, the rally will be held after the early voting ends at 6 p.m.
